Honda Civic Wheels Stolen. i work in the rental industry and we've had quite a number of honda civics come in with the wheels stolen as well as the airbag out. there's a few threads here of members getting wheels stolen. Like you said, insurance does its job but. Lots of thieves love to steal honda's wheels. this just happened to my friend a few days ago to his sport hatchback, thieves stole his wheels right out of his driveway. they just take along 4 sockets (also stolen from home depot or somewhere) that just fit over the lock lug and smack it on with a 2lb hammer. I have seen a lot of wheel theft posts and pictures lately on the. the stock wheels i believe are like $400 each, $1600 in total. so i woke up for work this morning to find all 4 wheels stolen from my car and my girlfriend's car and both cars were left on cinderblocks. Very pricey for these 18 wheels. You can get those spinning gorilla locks, along w/oem. i have not heard of stolen wheels on a car in a long time in my area.
